What an incredible day we had at this year’s House Athletics Carnival! From the very first race to the final high jump, our school community was bursting with energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit.
Students from all year levels gave their very best in events like sprints, long jump, shot put, and relays. It was amazing to see everyone cheering each other on, celebrating successes, and showing great sportsmanship throughout the day. Whether they were winning events or simply giving it a go, every student should be proud of their efforts.
A big thank you to our wonderful teachers, staff and Bayside Secondary College students who helped the day run so smoothly. Your support made everything possible!
The House Athletics Carnival wasn’t just about who could run the fastest or jump the furthest – it was about teamwork, participation, and celebrating each other’s achievements. We’re so proud of the way our students represented their houses with determination, respect, and joy.
I also extend my thanks to you all for your patience again as we continue to navigate the challenges associated with implementing the School Savings Bonus. Please rest assured that we will never let a child miss out on an activity or excursion.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
Emma Vasilevski
Our F–2 Tabloid Sports Day was a vibrant and joyful celebration of movement, teamwork, and community spirit. From the very beginning, there was a buzz of excitement as our youngest learners eagerly gathered, ready to participate in a wide range of engaging physical activities. Throughout the day, the children demonstrated incredible enthusiasm, resilience, and cooperation as they rotated through the 12 action-packed rotations. It was a joy to watch them work together, celebrate each other’s efforts, and show true sportsmanship.
A huge thank you goes to the wonderful team from Kaboom, who facilitated the session with such infectious enthusiasm, creativity, and encouragement. Their engaging approach and clear instructions made each activity accessible and fun for all, helping to ensure every child felt successful and included. We are also incredibly grateful to our dedicated staff for embracing the spirit of the day so wholeheartedly. Their encouragement, participation, and support played a vital role in creating such a positive and memorable experience.
