Principal's Message

Welcome Kaz to Our First Aid Team!
We are excited to welcome a new friendly face to our school community — Kaz, who will be taking on the important role of First Aid Officer!

Kaz will be working with us every school day from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. During these hours, she’ll be available to care for students who are feeling unwell or who need a bit of help with scrapes, bumps, and other minor injuries as well as administering any medications. With a warm smile and a kind heart, we are looking forward to Kaz joining our team and making students feel safe and supported.

Please join us in giving Kaz a big, friendly welcome to our school. We're so glad to have her on board!

Bright Future Grant Boosts STEM Leanring at Kingsville PS

We are excited to share that Kingsville PS has been awarded a Bright Future Grant from Mobil to support the continued growth of our new whole-school STEM program.

As a PYP school, we are committed to providing rich, inquiry-driven learning experiences that prepare students for the future. This funding will allow us to enhance and expand our existing tools and technologies, ensuring all students — from Foundation to Year 6 — have access to engaging and well-resourced STEM opportunities.

The grant will be used to further develop our use of stop-motion animationLEGO Educationearly years roboticsMakedo construction kitsBBC Micro:bit coding tools, and 3D modelling using Makers Empire. These tools are already embedded in our curriculum, and the additional resources will help us ensure every student has the chance to explore, create, and innovate in meaningful ways.

We are grateful to Mobil for recognising the value of our STEM program and supporting our mission to nurture confident, creative and collaborative learners.

Excitement Builds for Student-Led Conferences on 1st July

Our students are eagerly preparing to share their learning journeys at the upcoming Student-Led Conferences on Monday, July 1. This is a valuable opportunity for families to celebrate progress, reflect on growth, and gain insight into each child’s achievements and goals. Students have been working hard to prepare their portfolios and are proud to showcase their accomplishments.

Academic Reports Released on July 3
Academic reports will be available to families via Compass on Wednesday, July 3. These reports provide a detailed overview of each student’s academic performance and areas for continued development.

Optional Parent-Teacher Meetings in Term 3
For families wishing to discuss their child’s report further, teaching staff will be available for meetings after school on Tuesday, July 22 and Thursday, July 24. Please contact your child’s teacher directly to arrange a time.

We look forward to seeing families at the conferences and continuing our strong partnership in supporting student learning and growth.
