Welcome back to Term 3! We are thrilled to see all our students returning with such enthusiasm and positive energy. It’s been a fantastic start, full of smiling faces, eager learners, and exciting activities already underway. Well done to everyone for settling in so smoothly and making this term’s beginning so wonderful!

A Warm Welcome to Our New Staff

We are excited to introduce three new members to our school community:

• Travis Wood joins us as our new PE teacher. Travis brings a passion for sports and physical education, and we’re looking forward to seeing our students thrive in his classes.

• Karen Murray is our new First Aid Officer. Karen’s experience and care will help ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff throughout the school day.

• Melanie Ruskin has joined as our Business Manager. Melanie will be working behind the scenes to help keep the school running smoothly, managing budgets and operations with great expertise.

Please join us in welcoming Travis, Karen, and Melanie to the KPS family!

Please come out to contribute to our school’s grounds maintenance THIS Sunday morning, 3rd August.

This is a wonderful opportunity to see more of the school grounds and to meet other families, particularly across all year levels.

Children are welcome and can assist or spend time in the oval or playgrounds. All children must be supervised by their parents.

Everyone attending should wear suitable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Please bring gardening or other gloves if you have them. Entry is along Bishop Street.

Tasks include:

• garden bed maintenance and mulching
• grounds maintenance such as staining wood
• Gaga Pit maintenance such as scrubbing and re-staining
• line marking

Kingsville Primary School had an outstanding result at today's State Cross Country at Yarra Glen.

Ned O came 44th out of 88th in 9/10 boys. He did 2km in 9:00

Elliott M came 7th in the 11 boys. He did 3km in 11:18  - he has made the Victorian squad team as first reserve - so if one person can't make it, he'll run at Nationals on the Gold Coast in early September)

Eli M came 14th. She did 3km in 12:56  - not technically at KPS anymore, but an alumni who graduated last year and is now at Footscray High School.
