Welcome to the new school year.
There is always a sense of excitement around a school at the beginning of the year. So many new relationships to make, routines to learn and so many new possibilities. What a privilege it is for me to now begin my first full year here at KPS and be a part of the fun setting up how we want our school to be and how we will work together to achieve our goals.
It has been lovely to see the students and teachers settle in with each other and collaboratively set up their learning spaces. It has been a jam packed 2 days and I hope everyone gets some much needed rest over the weekend.
I am keeping this newsletter short and sweet, however wanted to officially welcome you all, especially our new families. Please reach out to me at any time if you need anything. My email is emma.vasilevski@education.vic.gov.au
Kindly,
Emma
Kingsville Primary School: School Council - Are you interested?
School Councils play a key role in Victorian Government schools.
At Kingsville Primary School we have a long history of very successful and active governance teams who have helped establish the broad direction and vision for the school.
Successive councils have carried out their key roles effectively and in doing so enhanced the educational opportunities of our students over a long period of time.
Our Council meets twice per term on a Monday night, with meeting usually not going any longer than 2 hours in length.
