Introducing The School Scoop

We’re excited to introduce The School Scoop – a new monthly opportunity for parents and carers to connect with our school community over a cuppa and a chat.

Once a month on a Wednesday, we’ll open up the staffroom for an informal morning where families can drop in, meet with members of our school team, ask questions, share ideas and hear a little more about what’s happening at Kingsville Primary School.

Each morning will have a different theme or focus, providing an opportunity to explore topics that are important and relevant to our students and families. There’s no formal agenda and no need to book – just come along, grab a coffee and join the conversation.

A friendly reminder to families about our Mobile Phone and Smartwatch Policy at Kingsville Primary School. Click here for Mobile Phone Policy

Students are not permitted to use mobile phones or smartwatches during the school day. This includes smartwatches that have the capacity to send or receive messages, make calls, access the internet or communicate with others.

If students need to bring a mobile phone or smartwatch to school, these devices must be switched off and handed to the office for safe storage during the school day. They can be collected at the end of the school day.

We understand that devices can be an important part of family life and may be needed for travel to and from school. However, keeping devices safely stored during school hours helps us to protect student privacy, wellbeing, focus and learning, and supports a consistent approach across the school.
